Amsterdam Travel | 3 Insanely Instagrammable places to eat in Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities to visit and you can definitely find some amazing food and drink to feast upon during your stay. If you are a total Instagram addict like me (you can follow me here) then you’ll be keen to hunt down the most Instagrammable places to eat in Amsterdam.

To save you some time, we’ve put together three of our favourite places that serve delicious food and also make for a great place to snap those Insta-worthy shots!

1. Mook Pancakes

MOOK are famous for their insanely delicious pancakes and you’ve got to try them or yourselves if you travel to Amsterdam. They are made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and no added sugar or salt. MOOK is short for ‘Mokum’, slang for Amsterdam.

Mook started out in 2016 with the help of some friends and their philosophy is pretty simple. They’re in love with great food and the juiciest juices. Their vibe is mellow urban.

The decor is cool, clean and light. Our experience found that everyone was friendly, service was super-speedy and the food certainly tastes just amazing as it looks. The perfect place to grab a tasty bite to eat and snap some amazing food photos!

MOOK Pancakes locations:- De Clercqstraat 34, 1052 MZ Amsterdam, Netherlands and:- Jodenbreestraat 144, 1011 NS Amsterdam, Netherlands.

2. Pluk Amsterdam

Pluk  is a stunning little cafe and shop that you absolutely must stop in and visit on your next trip to Amsterdam! This place is quite literally Instagram goals. You can find lots of delicious foods to snack on and you’ll find a wide variety of fresh juices that will keep you hydrated as you wander the beautiful streets of Amsterdam.

Food wise you can order everything from sandwiches and brunch items to beautiful little Acai bowls that are presented in the shape of a unicorn! These are sure to surprise and delight foodies of all ages and don’t worry, they taste every bit as magical as they look!

The decor inside is light, bright and modern. The shop is stocked with sweet homeware, accessories and little delights that you’ll definitely be tempted by. We couldn’t resist picking up a stunning oversized teacup and a few homeware items before we left.

I picked up the pink cup but am kicking myself for not picking up the gorgeous yellow and green versions of these cups as well – they would be perfect for summer!

Pluk location:- Reestraat 19, 1016 DM Amsterdam

3. Geflipt

Geflipt is a restaurant that we found completely by accident after walking around the Amsterdam markets on a hot day. We spotted this place across the street from the Albert Cuyp Market and decided to pop in and grab a bite to eat. I am so  glad we did, as this resulted in some of the most delicious food ever!

I opted for an amazing grilled cheese and bacon sandwich topped with a runny fried egg and it was incredible! My husband went for one of their amazing burgers and enjoyed every bite. We also grabbed a couple of their home-made iced coffee’s which went down a treat on such a hot day in Amsterdam.

The vibe inside is trendy, modern with an industrial feel. It’s light and airy for capturing those perfect Instagram shots.

Geflipt location:- Van Woustraat 15 1074 AA Amsterdam
