Amsterdam Travel | 3 Insanely Instagrammable places to eat in Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities to visit and you can definitely find some amazing food and drink to feast upon during your stay. If you are a total Instagram addict like me (you can follow me here) then you’ll be keen to hunt down the most Instagrammable places to eat in Amsterdam.

To save you some time, we’ve put together three of our favourite places that serve delicious food and also make for a great place to snap those Insta-worthy shots!

1. Mook Pancakes

MOOK are famous for their insanely delicious pancakes and you’ve got to try them or yourselves if you travel to Amsterdam. They are made with high-quality, fresh ingredients and no added sugar or salt. MOOK is short for ‘Mokum’, slang for Amsterdam.

Mook started out in 2016 with the help of some friends and their philosophy is pretty simple. They’re in love with great food and the juiciest juices. Their vibe is mellow urban.

The decor is cool, clean and light. Our experience found that everyone was friendly, service was super-speedy and the food certainly tastes just amazing as it looks. The perfect place to grab a tasty bite to eat and snap some amazing food photos!

The decor inside is light, bright and modern. The shop is stocked with sweet homeware, accessories and little delights that you’ll definitely be tempted by. We couldn’t resist picking up a stunning oversized teacup and a few homeware items before we left.

I picked up the pink cup but am kicking myself for not picking up the gorgeous yellow and green versions of these cups as well – they would be perfect for summer!

3. Geflipt

Geflipt is a restaurant that we found completely by accident after walking around the Amsterdam markets on a hot day. We spotted this place across the street from the Albert Cuyp Market and decided to pop in and grab a bite to eat. I am so  glad we did, as this resulted in some of the most delicious food ever!

I opted for an amazing grilled cheese and bacon sandwich topped with a runny fried egg and it was incredible! My husband went for one of their amazing burgers and enjoyed every bite. We also grabbed a couple of their home-made iced coffee’s which went down a treat on such a hot day in Amsterdam.
