Testing The Estee Lauder Face Mask | Is It Worth The Hype?

Estee Lauder face mask

Having recently been sent this amazing looking Estee Lauder face mask I decided what better time than to trial it out properly than over the Bank Holiday weekend? The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask is said to create a protective barrier, allowing the formula to penetrate fast and deep within skin’s surface and helping to lock in moisture.

Estee Lauder Face Mask – Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask

Firstly let’s talk about the price of this Estee Lauder face mask. The Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask is priced at £16 for one mask and £58 for a pack of 4. So you do make a saving if you order a few at a time. I know, that’s still definitely not cheap. However, these masks are high quality skincare products and are only really meant to be used once a week or on special occasions. I think I would look at them more as a skincare treat for when my skin really needs a boost in order to look its absolute best.

This face mask contains 2X Hyaluronic Acid. Each treatment delivers a surge of liquid revitalisation, immersing skin in a double dose of Advanced Night Repair Serum’s powerful moisture magnet. It also includes the Estee Lauder proven ChronoluxCB™ technologies, giving you the ultimate infusion of youthful moisture.

When you remove the mask from the packet you can instantly tell how much product is contained within. It is so heavily hydrated! The mask itself feels cooling and moisturising from the second it touches your skin. I can definitely see these being a fantastic summer skincare treat. They come in two halves – one for the upper part of your face and one for the lower.

The Estee Lauder face mask would work perfectly if you have a big event coming up. They would even be a brilliant treat for the Bride-to-be and their bridesmaids in some pre-wedding pampering.

Simply leave the face mask on for 10 minutes and then remove. When the mask has been taken off, you can massage all of that lovely hydrating serum into your skin and let it naturally soak in.

What I love about these masks is that they are perfect for using in the evening before bedtime. There is no sticky residue leftover and your skin literally drinks this up, locking the moisture in. When I woke up, my skin felt soft, plump and looked amazing!

So – are they worth the hype, and your hard earned cash?  There’s no denying that these are a little on the pricey side – but if you are serious about looking after your skin and helping it stay looking its youthful best, then these could make a fab addition to your weekly regime. Use them from time to time when your skin needs a much needed boost, or on a regular basis, it’s totally up to you.

At the end of the day, there’s no denying that these definitely do work and that the results speak for themselves. This is a skincare product that you’ll genuinely see a lasting benefit from in my opinion. If you’ve tried them, leave a comment and let me know what you thought!
