Things I Loved In April…

Things I Loved

I can’t believe that we’re in May already. Is it just me or have the last couple of months gone really quickly? There have been so many things that I’ve enjoyed using this past month that I thought I would put together a quick feature on some of the things I loved in April. Let me know in the comments what your own top picks and moments from April have been…

Statement Necklaces have been a really big part of my spring/summer wardrobe for a while now. They are so on trend that you’ll find them in just about every store, in a rainbow of colours and designs. I especially love the Jon Richard Mood Multicoloured Fabric and Chain Wrapped Necklace as pictured above. It sparkles beautifully in the sunlight and is perfect for dressing up any outfit!

Thin Hair Shampoo

I have very fine, flyaway hair and it can take a lot to give it a serious boost and to make it look and feel fuller. During April, I tested some of the lovely Nanogen thickening treatment hair products and was really impressed with the results.

The shampoo and conditioner are now a firm favourite! They are light, non-greasy and perfect for thin and lacklustre hair like my own. I loved the fact that after using Nanogen for a couple of weeks, my hair looked and felt thicker and appeared to have more volume and bounce to it. This may not be a miracle cure for thin hair, but I’ll take any help I can get in making mine look gorgeous!

Summer Bath Favourites

I’ve been so busy, that when I finally get time to relax, I love nothing more than running a nice hot bath and filling it full of bubbles and pampering products. The Champneys ‘Spa Indulgence Distant Shores Bubble Heaven‘ bubble bath is my new FAVOURITE bubble bath. I use it all the time lately.  I love the packaging, and it makes vast amounts of bubbles with just a sparing amount. As with all Champneys products it smells divine too!

I’ve been using the fab Treaclemoon products from Tesco alongside this. I am obsessed with Treaclemoon and I’m sure I’m not alone here. They smell amazing and come in some really inventive scents!

Ghost Eclipse

I’ve been testing GHOST Eclipse for the last week or so and it has quickly become my ‘go to’ daytime fragrance. We had a lovely spell of warm weather recently (such a rarity!) and this smells absolutely wonderful on warm, sunny days. I’m definitely tipping GHOST Eclipse for huge cult status this summer! Refreshing, romantic and wonderfully wearable for any event.

aeos-skincare

Last but definitely not least, I have been treating my skin to some lovely luxurious pampering with AEOS! My top picks from the AEOS skincare range for spring and summer are without doubt:-

AEOS Refreshing Hydrating Facial Mist – This is a fantastic product that is set to be a big hit in summer. Keep yourself cool and refreshed with a hydrating mist that won’t overpower or leave your skin feeling greasy. Priced at £54.99 a little goes a long way so you won’t need to keep replacing it either.

Another of my top picks from the AEOS range is the AEOS Gentle Exfoliant (blue) priced at £35.98. This is perfect for keeping your skin soft, smooth and ready for your gorgeous summer make-up! There is nothing worse than dry, flaky skin when you’re trying to go for a fresh and dewy complexion and this is a real summer saviour product that will help ensure that you look your best.
