On-Trend Stag and Hen Accessories

When it comes to planning the perfect stag or hen party, you need to have all bases covered. We’re talking about picking a prime party destination and agreeing on an action-packed agenda full of activities, taking you through the day and night – but you also need to make sure you’ve got those costumes and accessories nailed.

Here at Last Night of Freedom, we’re the UK’s number one online retailer for stag and hen accessories, so it’s safe to say we know a thing or two on the matter and that we certainly have our finger on the pulse when it comes to current market trends.

When it comes to hen parties, we’ve noticed a real shift in recent years, where groups have swayed from the typical phallic-shaped straws, blingy veils and L-plates, to a more classy range of hen party accessories. In April this year, we launched two brand new collections, the I Do Crew and Team Bride edits, which have taken the hen party world by storm. These collections are a lot more tasteful and classy than ranges previously synonymous with hen dos, and include elegant sashes (the sash trend is not going anywhere fast), confetti filled balloons, eye-catching bunting, plush tableware and satin Bride-to-Be robes with matching slippers.

As for stags, the current trend appears to be ‘the more embarrassing, the better’. Currently, we’ve noticed the majority of our stag groups opting to pack a ‘surprise’ for the stag, which usually means a questionable inflatable or an embarrassing costume to single the stag out from the group – the male bride, gimp and blow up willy costumes being the most popular at the moment. Personalised T-shirts are also extremely popular with our groups, where groups can add nicknames, locations, dates and team numbers to a chosen design, and customise the colours used, to really make their group stand out from the rest – and give the general public a heads up to avoid them all night. It’s a win-win.
