Digitally glide through the capital and take in the wonderful sights from home as Thames Clippers hosts a virtual river tour on its Twitter feed (twitter.com/thamesclippers) from 11am BST on Thursday 7 May.
Swap your sailing shoes for your fluffy slippers and trade in snacks and refreshments from the onboard bar for your very own kitchen comforts as you set sail and enjoy the best views of the capital. Tour ‘guests’ can reminisce, delve through their camera rolls and share their own river memory photos too, or ask questions along the route.
Sharing video content, stunning photos, fun facts, virtual tours, webcams and more, the tour allows followers to play tourist and will take in iconic London landmarks including The O2, Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern, The lastminute.com London Eye and Old Royal Naval College (Greenwich).
The tour will set sail on Thursday 7 May from 11am BST, cruising Thames Clippers’ RB1 service from Woolwich (Royal Arsenal) Pier to Battersea Power Station Pier.
