The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence Review

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence has been causing quite the stir on the beauty scene this season and it’s not hard to see why! Facial SPF is so hard to get right and most brands seem to create something that is either too low in SPF factor or too heavy and greasy on the skin. With my trip to NYC fast approaching I’ve been thinking about Facial SPF and testing out a massive selection of products. Keep reading to find out absolute favourite pick from everything I’ve tried so far.

Star pick! The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi Protection Essence The Body Shop has absolutely blown everything else out of the water with this product. It is so lightweight, it sits on the skin beautifully and makeup can be applied perfectly over the top.

The formula has a milky, almost watery consistency (see my photo below for a closeup) and when applied it just blends completely into the skin, leaving no trace at all. I like to use this on my face and then take any excess left on my hands, downwards onto my neck and decolletage.

UVA and UVB protection is included as well as vitamin C. The price isn’t the cheapest out there at £16.00 but I think that a 100ml bottle should last a fairly good amount of time, even with daily use. After a week of using this I will definitely be taking this on holiday with me and I can see it genuinely being a product that I’ll purchase again and again.

I don’t know how The Body Shop have done it but I think they have come up with something truly special here.
