The fact that I’m going on holiday to New York soon has meant that anything travel size or travel friendly has been going straight to the top of my ‘must have’ list. The June Glossybox was fab for this (I loved my little travel size Origins moisturiser so much that I couldn’t actually resist saving it for holiday and have accidentally used it up already. Whoops!) but I think that maybe I love the July Glossybox even more!
I feel like Glossybox always plan their contents really well and always try to cater for their subscribers by thinking really hard about which beauty products we might be using for each season. They then team up with some of the most up-and-coming brands of the moment to deliver them – Perfect!
In the July 2016 Glossybox we’ve got some real treats. The HAIRON detangling brush is the perfect size to throw into your beach bag (or hand luggage) and fits nicely into the palm of your hand. I have quite fine, flyaway hair and due to my autoimmune diseases it can often be quite delicate and brittle so I absolutely love the fact that this brush was so gentle!
Next up is the UTAN Nourishing Night Creme and gradual tan. Now I think that this might be ideal for my pale skin and could be a great way of getting a little bit of natural colour to my complexion. It has a really creamy and hydrating formula and applies like a dream so I have high hopes! The 25ml size is also perfectly travel friendly so I’m a happy bunny all round.
Next up is another fab Hawaiian Tropic product. This Hawaiian Tropic Island Berry lipgloss is sooo good! It has a slight tint to it, smells great and isn’t sticky. Best of all? It has SPF 25 which is fab! Our lips can get just as burned by the sun as the rest of our body and we often forget that they need protecting too.
Last but not least, the Blank Canvas Cosmetics F20 Flat Buffer Brush is absolutely gorgeous and will be perfect for buffing in your foundation. This is a super soft brush with a really stylish design. The Collection super size Fat Lash mascara looks amazing for creating loads of lash volume this summer and I’m excited to see how it fairs against some of my favourite mascaras. I’ll keep you posted, but first impressions of both the formula and the wand itself look good.
