Barentsz Jasmine Gin
Barentsz is a premium distilled Gin, infused with Jasmine flowers from China, as well as eight other botanicals for an elegant, dry and well-balanced finish. Made from the marriage of two different grain spirits – Winter Wheat and Golden Rye, this unique combination gives the gin a soft and smooth, pure flavour – smooth enough to sip neat.
Barentsz takes its name from the 16th century explorer Willem Barentsz whose discoveries during the Dutch Golden Age led him to discover the Barentsz Sea which is named after him. Barentsz was founded by Michael Claessens whose family is from the Netherlands and whilst distilled in London the gin has strong connections to its Dutch heritage. RRP £32.95 for 70 cl. Available from: 31Dover, Master of Malt, Whisky Exchange, drinksupermarket.com and http://www.barentszgin.com

Limited edition Stafford’s Christmas Gin
Colwith Farm is a 200-acre family owned farm located between Lostwithiel and Fowey in Cornwall, purchased by Stafford Dustow in 1904. Today the business is managed by Grandfather, Father and Son – Clive, Mike and Chris Dustow. In 2014 Stafford’s great, great grandson Steve (Mike’s son) began developing Cornwall’s first potato vodka – Aval Dor – using Colwith Farm King Edward potatoes. In 2015 he started producing Stafford’s Gin derived from this potato vodka along with botanicals foraged on the farm. Colwith Farm Distillery opened for production and tours in July 2018, Cornwall’s first single estate gin and vodka distillery.
