Aldi’s New Rosé Tastes Just Like Fruit Salad Sweets

The future appears rosé for retro confectionery lovers, as Aldi’s latest pink arrival, the NEW Castellore Dolce Amore Rosé (£8.99, 75cl), tastes just like the classic fruit salad sweets.

Joining the supermarket’s new award-winning Autumn Winter range and priced at just £8.99 a bottle, shoppers can take a sip down memory lane with this delightful pink tipple.

Boasting intense flavours of peach, raspberry and strawberries with red fruit and grapefruit notes on the finish, this vino is perfect for those looking to re-discover ‘the good old days’ through rosé-coloured glasses.

With retro-themed drinks continuing to be at the forefront of this year’s trends, Sam Caporn, Mistress of Wine, explains why the pink-hued tipple is perfect for those that like a sweeter drop:

“This juicy, fragrant, fruity dry rosé has notes of raspberry, cherries, apricot and a hint of pineapple that remind me of the nostalgic fruit salad sweets.”

She also offered a few suggestions of delicious dishes shoppers can pair the wine with.

Sam said:

“Characterful and fun, it’s delicious on its own or paired with a seafood pasta or charcuterie board.”

Aldi’s Castellore Dolce Amore is available in-stores nationwide and via Click & Collect now.
