3 of the Sexiest Spring Fragrances for 2019
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight Eau de Parfum – if you adore the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb fragrances but have been holding out for something darker, sexier and more dramatic then this one is for you. The new Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight Eau de Parfum still has all the classic characteristics of the Flowerbomb fragrance family but with a little bit of an edge.
The addictive fruity top notes of blackcurrant sparkle against a captivating floral heart dominated by night-blooming jasmine. Also known as the ‘Queen of the Night,’ this mysterious flower only blooms and reveals her powerful and captivating scent once night falls.
The distinctive jasmine contrasts with the brightness of the floral bouquet and explodes in the heart of Flowerbomb Midnight. Bergamot adds a fresh, zesty note enhanced by spicy, aromatic pink pepper. Praline and patchouli form a soft, powdery white musk blending into a creamy, lingering trail. Utterly gorgeous and totally addictive! Flowerbomb Midnight is Priced at £51 for 30ml and available here.
Mademoiselle Rochas Couture – Launched in 2017, Mademoiselle Rochas perfectly embodies a chic and outgoing French woman, both simple and elegant. Two years on, and a year after the launch of the Eau de Toilette, the young woman reveals her passion for fashion with this new fragrance. Like a true Parisian, she mixes basic items with more sophisticated pieces in her beautifully inspired wardrobe. She picks out a dress for her evening event that perfectly enhances her figure, an undeniable weapon for seduction.
In exploring this new angle, Rochas pays tribute to the work of the Paris fashion house, particularly its know-how and its cuts, which exude a rare elegance. From a black sheath dress to broad shoulder designs, bows often feature in its creations, as a graceful detail and a clear symbol of femininity.
This floral woody is a new creation by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou, it symbolises Paris at night: elegant, vibrant and eternal. More intense and sensual than the previous versions of Mademoiselle, this Eau de Parfum reflects the elegant figure of this spontaneous and extraordinarily charming young woman. Opening on a combination of spicy notes, with pink pepper, pear and bergamot, the composition then exudes softness with a heart of orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley and heliotrope. Intoxicating white flowers, accented with musks, tonka beans and sandalwood, unfurl voluptuously onto the skin with a carnal intensity. Mademoiselle Rochas Couture EDP 30ml RRP £38.00
The Merchant of Venice Andalusian Soul – Luxury fragrance house The Merchant of Venice has launched a new scent within its Murano Collection line, Andalusian Soul. The fragrance is inspired by the mude, the ancient maritime trade routes of the Venetian merchants, which connected Venice to the fascinating cities of the East, enabling the exchange of raw materials, customs, and traditions.
Andalusian Soul is an audacious fragrance characterised by refined and fresh acacia, elegant and sensual vanilla, and intense amber, further enriched by touches of cistus and rum. The sublime mix of precious raw materials is made even more fascinating by balsamic accords and aromatic sage.
The ambience expressed by this extremely feminine fragrance evokes the warmth and mystery of the sunny lands of its origin. The head notes are reminiscent of the beverages made in ancient times in Malaga, much sought-after in the courts of Europe. The elegant bottle, in shades of yellow and orange, is also reminiscent of the warm atmosphere of Morocco and Southern Spain. RRP £80 (50ml) Available at Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Selfridges.
