New frozen ready meal range Mansby Street Kitchen has launched in Tesco stores across the UK, created for foodies who fancy a home-cooked favourite but a night-off from the kitchen. The range of frozen ready meals are made to wow – luxurious sharing meals that offer a generous serving size, costing just £2 per portion. Full of taste and packed with premium ingredients such as Angus beef, each indulgent meal is best served with an added side, giving discerning cooks flexibility to make the dish their own.
The six new recipes were developed by chef Martin Gregory for Mansby Street Kitchen. He comments:

Ready in minutes and tremendously flavoursome, each meal can be further elevated with your own personal touch. There are six meals available – Beef Bourguignon, Beef Lasagne Al Forno, Chicken Makhani, Coq Au Vin, Lamb Moussaka and Spicy Meatballs. Each meal is RRP £4 (£2 per person) and is available at Tesco.
Beef Bourguignon (500g)
Succulent Angus beef in a rich beef and Merlot sauce, with woodland mushrooms & smoky bacon lardons.
Serving recommendation: Creamy mash and green vegetables
Beef Lasagne Al Forno (750g)
Tender minced beef Ragu with sausage crumble, bacon & herbs, finished with Merlot wine, layered with rich Cheddar and nutmeg cream sauce & pasta sheets. Topped with Cheddar.
Serving recommendation: Fresh green salad
Chicken Makhani (600g)
Succulent marinated chicken pieces in an aromatic tomato and yoghurt sauce with garlic and ginger, perfectly finished with cinnamon & nutmeg.
Serving recommendation: Pilau rice & naan bread
Coq Au Vin (500g)
Two whole tender chicken breasts in an indulgent Merlot sauce with smoky bacon lardons and woodland mushrooms.
Serving recommendation: Dauphinoise potatoes & green beans
Lamb Moussaka (750g)
Tender minced lamb layered with aubergine & sauté potatoes, finished with Merlot wine, white wine & mint, topped with rich creamy bechamel sauce and Ciabatta Cheese Crumbs. Serving recommendation: Rocket leaf salad
Spicy Meatballs (500g)
Spicy Sicilian-style pork and beef meatballs in a rich garlic, tomato & chilli sauce, finished with basil and Merlot. Topped with grated mozzarella.
Serving recommendation: Spaghetti cooked al dente
