The highly anticipated and rare collaboration between two big players in the beauty industry is based on an authentic friendship between the two founders, Kat Von D and Jerrod Blandino, who have teamed up to create a range of products bringing together the best of both brands – Kat Von D Beauty’s signature bold and edgy beauty meets Too Faced’s unabashedly pretty in pink style, with three must-have sets, and let me just tell you now, it is freakin’ amazing!
The super-cute makeup bag is amazingly high quality. I’m not sure why I was surprised by just how beautiful this looks and feels, but I really was. It is well made, excellent quality and looks fantastic. The bag has two sides, one features the Kat Von D logo and her gorgeous cat Piaf.
There are two Kat Von D Beauty products inside and these are a Mini Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Muse (shimmering nude) and a Mini Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in XO (matte oxblood) both are brilliant choices for the set as they can be worn by just about anyone.
The Too Faced side of the makeup bag is the prettiest, most sparkly thing you’ve ever seen and Jerrod’s dog Clover takes centre stage perfectly on this side. The fact that it’s cute, but with a touch of sophisticated glam makes this the perfect set for teens and adults alike. In fact, my teenage daughter has been absolutely dying to get her hands on this – I might have to give in and let her share it I suppose!
The Too Faced products included inside are a Mini Too Faced Love Flush Blush in So Happy Together (peony pink) and a Mini Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder in Rosy Glow (golden sheer) both of these products make me so happy!
I am already obsessed the candlelight glow highlight – it is absolutely perfect for everyday wear. The mini love flush blush is adorable and is perfect for spring/summer. The fact that this set is limited edition and priced at a very reasonable £33.00 means that it is well worth snapping up for yourself or as the perfect gift for birthday’s or Mother’s Day.
