Galentine’s Day has become quite a ‘thing’ right now and this year I’m definitely finding myself embracing this side of the more traditional Valentine’s Day celebrations as the years go by. As coined by the awesome ‘Leslie Knope’ from Parks and Rec, GALentine’s day is all about showing your nearest and dearest girlfriends how much they are appreciated too!

Celebrating Galentine’s day and treating your friends doesn’t have to be expensive. Why not buy a sweet little gift bag and fill it with some treats that you know your friend will appreciate. That could be mini samples of their favourite product or their chocolate bar of choice! These little gift bags cost me 99p each from my local high street (pound land would be an amazing place to pick up some bargains too!) and they look so lovely when filled with treats and accessories.
If you have a friend who deserves pampering, then makeup products and face masks are a great option. I made up a couple of bags for my closest friends and they make for a simple but impromptu gesture.
