Aqua Sana Longleat Refurbished Spa | Join Me For An Exclusive First Look!

Aqua Sana Longleat Forest has this week unveiled its brand-new Forest Spa, bringing together 24 spa experiences to harness the proven benefits of forest bathing. The spa, which has been completely refurbished to include all-new experiences, has drawn inspiration from different aspects of nature, including the changing seasons, rainforest showers, hot springs, ice and some of the most beautiful forests around the world.

We were invited along to the press launch of the refurbished Aqua Sana Longleat Forest to experience the new refurbishments for ourselves. This absolutely magical experience from start to finish really does have to be seen to be believed, but keep reading below for the low-down on what to expect on your next visit!

As you approach the spa itself you are greeted by a luxurious welcome entrance. Once through the doors you can find absolutely beautiful changing rooms with lockers, towels and robes. You then arrive into an absolutely stunning restaurant area.

Vitalé Café Bar has received a £340,000 investment to give it a complete transformation, bringing the outside in with an abundance of foliage decorating the space and large windows giving an insight into the rich woodland setting. With gorgeous white marble tables, pretty gold accents and spacious seating areas you instantly begin to feel the weight of the world lift from your shoulders as you prepare to enter the main spa itself.

The spa is spread across five ‘zones’ – Nordic Forest, Hot Springs, Volcanic Forest, Forest Immersion and Treetop Nesting – each celebrating different aspects of nature through a spectrum of sounds, colours and infusions. As soon as you walk through the door, it is clear that this is a spa experience like no other. With so many different experiences, Aqua Sana Longleat Forest is a relaxing haven that will pamper your mind, body and senses as you explore these blissful surroundings.

You can sit inside the Nordic sauna and let the heat purify, detox and relieve muscular aches and pains. It’s also an excellent way to boost the immune system. Reclaimed Alpine wood décor and authentic Nordic music complete the experience.

Once you are finished, why not head straight to the Ice Cave to cool down? Ice chippings are provided to rub onto your skin, stimulating circulation and boosting the immune system. This room replicates an igloo and has been created using innovative materials that wouldn’t typically be found in a spa. Crafted from wax and moulded shell, it inspires the senses to transport you to the Arctic tundra, cooling the body for a fresh, polar experience. We loved the transition from hot to cold and how fantastic it made your whole body feel afterwards!

Take a swim and let your mind drift as you float in the heated outdoor pool – whether the sun is shining or rain is falling, this is a tranquil and refreshing experience all year round. Relaxing nature sounds play in the background as you take in these magical surroundings.

Two outdoor hot tubs looking out into the forest gently massage the body, relieve tension and allow full immersion in forest bathing. Take a look at my Instagram stories for a closer look at these!

The exclusive moonlight shower and moonlight steam room are the perfect way to unwind. Emulating the feeling of being in a dark tropical forest, the refreshing citrus aroma of the steam room stimulates and refreshes, while the heated seating eases muscular aches. Totally blissful!

One of the most impressive new rooms is the forest cavern. A unique and totally immersive experience. Replicating a cave hidden deep within a tropical forest, this gently warming experience takes it back to basics with an earthy décor and an infusion of pomegranate and myrrh to balance mind and body. This is unlike anything I have ever seen at a spa and is a definite must-try during your stay!

Why not spend some time in the Scandinavian Snug before you leave? Cosy up under a warm blanket in this outdoor sanctuary and drift away to the sounds of a crackling, open fire. Outside, the Glacial Garden provides the perfect place to sit back and relax, surrounded by Nordic trees.

With so many more experiences and rooms to make your way through than those I’ve mentioned above, it is safe to say that you are really in for a treat when you visit Aqua Sana Longleat forest for yourself.

With a wide variety of treatments provided at Aqua Sana Longleat Forest you can rest assured that you’ll find the perfect treat to suit your needs. From manicures, pedicures and facials to hot stone massage and more, you really are spoiled for choice.

To celebrate the launch of the Forest Spa, Aqua Sana Longleat Forest has introduced a new, exclusive two-hour treatment designed to continue the healing benefits of the Forest Cavern. Using all-natural ingredients to deliver an earthy experience, the ‘Nature’s Ultimate Remedy’ treatment lifts, contours and refreshes the entire body. Comprising of a full body brush with a scalp massage, hot stone massage and face mask application, it uses sustainable products supplied by a family-run Bath-based business.

The treatment was designed by Group Spa Manager, Kay Pennington, who used her years of experience in the spa and beauty industry to create a luxurious and completely exclusive treatment. After speaking to Kay on multiple occasions throughout the day and witnessing her passion first hand, I can truly appreciate how hard she and the team have worked to create such a perfect experience. They have poured their heart and soul into creating something you’ll truly love, and in my opinion, that’s what really comes across in every inch of the spa and the treatments themselves and makes them that little bit more special. Attention to detail is so important and Aqua Sana truly has thought of everything throughout this whole refurbishment.

Kay said: We are thrilled to be bringing the Forest Spa to Aqua Sana Longleat Forest. Although Aqua Sana Longleat Forest has been a firm favourite for more than 20 years, the new spa experiences give it a completely new personality – we’ve effectively opened a brand-new spa! I’m so excited to begin welcoming guests, from loyal spa aficionados to complete newcomers. Aqua Sana is wonderfully unique in offering such high-quality experiences and attentive guest service, whilst also remaining a welcoming and friendly environment. We seek to create a space where people can truly relax – the perfect location for your first or your fiftieth spa experience.

In short, if you are looking for a spa experience like no other then you absolutely must visit Aqua Sana Longleat Forest. We left the spa feeling refreshed, relaxed and completely in awe of every single unique experience we had managed to try on the day. The treatments are some of the best you’ll experience and the staff are absolutely amazing. I would thoroughly recommend booking the two hour Nature’s Ultimate Remedy Face and Body (from £119) if you want to experience the ultimate level of relaxation.
