With seatings available between 3:00pm and 4:30pm Monday – Friday and between 1:00pm – 5:00pm over the weekend, the delicate Wimbledon Afternoon Tea will be served with a flourish, under the beautiful eight-storey glass atrium, in the hotel’s Winter Garden Restaurant. Maximising the summer daylight, the sun-drenched experience will be accompanied by the relaxing twinkling of live piano music.
Priced at £65.00 per person, guests also have the option to upgrade the experience and toast a glass of Champagne (£78.00) or Tattinger Rosé (£88.00). Each elegant tower is adorned with fresh sandwiches taking inspiration from classic British fillings, warm freshly baked raisin and apple scones with Cornish clotted cream, and traditional desserts.
The hero dish, Pimm’s, Orange and Mint Mousse Shortbread, is a true celebration of creativity and innovation, shaped like a tennis ball with an indulgent creamy filling. Designed by Head Pastry Chef Mauro Di Lieto, the stunning Afternoon Tea showcases the best of British classic afternoon tea, a nostalgic ritual suitable for families, friends and dates.
