It finally feels like the summer sun is here and I don’t know about you, but I am thrilled ! After months of unpredictable weather and not knowing whether to wear sandals, wellies or a winter jacket it is so nice to have a steady spell of sunshine. I have been on the lookout for products to add to my summer skincare and beauty regime (ahem… when I say ‘regime’ I basically just mean the shelf in the bathroom cabinet that I reach for the most!) and here are a few that have caught my eye.

I find that the best way to apply this is to use the applicator to distribute product where you need it and then initially to blend with your fingertips. The cult classic Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream has had a limited edition packaging makeover from artist Louis O’Hara to celebrate Pride while raising funds for MTV staying Alive – an international charity dedicated to stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS. I have already raved about this amazing facial cream multiple times on here so you all know that I’m a huge fan of the Kiehl’s brand in general and their products.
I absolutely love seeing them support such great causes and the fact that Kiehl’s will donate £5 to the MTV Staying Alive foundation for each limited edition facial cream sold is just fantastic. I am fairly new to using eye serums but lately these are something I’ve been adding into my skincare routine. Incredibly cooling and hydrating they are perfect for keeping delicate skin in tip-top condition this summer. Tropic Skincare is another brand that I am insanely passionate about. They produce such high-quality products that are cruelty free and won’t weigh heavy on your conscience. I wrote a full article about their sun care collection but this product deserves a special mention here as it is perfect for those beach days when you need to top on your sunscreen on the go. Obviously it goes without saying that you do need to use a full sunscreen as usual before venturing out but this is a great handbag sized top up for the most frequently burnt areas of the face. KAYALI is the vision of Huda and Mona Kattan of Huda Beauty. Inspired by the rich heritage and simple sophistication of the middle east, these perfumes come stylishly packaged and contain a long-lasting scent that is perfect for hot summer nights. I have only tried the Vanilla scent thus far but I have fallen in love with it so my hopes for the rest of the offerings (Musk, Citrus and Elixir) in this collection are high! This creamy vanilla perfume has been my fragrance of choice for the sunny summer weather but I can see it working equally as well as the weather turns colder and we are looking for sweet and warming scents.
