Stripped Back September Skincare with Rosalique

As the autumn weather makes its arrival, our skin can become dull, tired, and dry. This month I’ve been looking for transitional skincare that will see me through the season with hydrated skin and less redness.

With the overcrowding of the beauty market, a carefully curated beauty regimen can spiral out of control, going from a simple bedtime ritual to a 20 step routine. Cocktailing so many ingredients and overcrowding your bathroom cabinet can upset an over-stimulated skin barrier, leading to aggravated, and sensitised skin.

Consistency is key and stripped back routines should include three core steps: a hydrating cleanser, a hydrating moisturiser for day and night and a high factor, broad spectrum SPF for use in the morning.

Listening to consumer feedback, Rosalique’s product range offers all three, designed to work together in balance with a less is more approach, but also offering 3 in 1 benefits to target all skins needs.

Rosalique 3-in-1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula in light blue tube with silver lid.

Step 1: Rosalique 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula SPF50, £29.99, Amazon

Developed for hypersensitive skin, an SPF, tinted moisturiser with colour correction and a primer in one, instantly conceals any redness and protects skin. This product is perfect for everyday wear. The lightweight, buildable coverage left my skin looking and feeling natural, with all signs of redness being perfectly concealed. I’ll be using this throughout September as my ‘go to’ tinted moisturiser.

Step 2: Rosalique 3 in 1 Balm Cleanser, £29.99, Amazon

Removes makeup without stripping the skin’s barrier. It can also be used as a soothing mask using anti-inflammatory and redness-reducing ingredients such as α-Bisabolol, Centella Asiatica and Vitamin E. Using this balm cleanser is the perfect way to remove your makeup in the colder months. If you suffer from dry skin or are prone to redness, you’ll find this a soothing and relaxing experience. I’ve been massaging the product into my skin and then removing it with a warm washcloth. Bliss!

Rosalique Soothing Night Cream in blue tube with silver lid

Step 3: Rosalique Night Cream £34.99, Amazon

Reduces redness, brightening dark circles and providing a deeper hydration while you sleep. Including IBR-CalmDeAge®, which works by stopping inflammation in its tracks, constricting blood vessels causing redness. This is my new favourite Rosalique product. My skin has been struggling lately and I have been looking for a product that hydrates, without leaving behind a greasy residue. The Rosalique night cream is easily absorbed into the skin and offers excellent hydration without being sticky or feeling too heavy. A stand-out winter skincare essential for all skin types!
