Yankee Candle Harvest Time candles have arrived and they are definitely fuelling my obsession with all things autumnal right now. These warm and comforting fragrances are making me think of everything I love about autumn weather and I couldn’t be more excited! Keep reading to find out all about each scent…
The first thing I noticed (and loved) about this collection is that although the scents are autumnal, they aren’t overly sweet or sickly. I feel like we’ve all become a bit too obsessed with making autumn and winter fragrances sugary and sweet, but it is definitely worth remembering that autumn is also a crisp, cool and refreshing month.
Honey Clementine – this is one of my favourites from the Yankee Candle Harvest Time collection. I absolutely adore anything with an orange scent to it and this honey and clementine manages to be warming, autumnal and fruity all at once.
Autumn Night – this is not what I expected from the name! The scent itself is quite masculine, with an air of cologne to it. I think it makes a fantastic change from all of the sweet autumnal candles available right now and would be great for burning when you are entertaining as it isn’t too over the top.
Ebony & Oak – This is a gorgeous fragrance! I currently have this one burning on the sideboard in our lounge and it reminds me of fresh and breezy autumn days. The kind of day right before it starts to get too cold – when the warm air is still just about circling and winter’s icy chill hasn’t quite taken a hold. I can see this being a firm favourite in our household…
Rhubarb Crumble – Now this is my kind of ‘sweet’ scent. You can really smell the biscuity crumble in this fragrance and I would imagine it would be the perfect candle to light in your kitchen or conservatory. I’m pretty sure I could give off a totally believable ‘I’ve just been busy baking’ scent with these! Fake it ’til you make it – right?!
