As we head into 2021 there will undoubtedly be new challenges to face, but hopefully some much needed positivity too. (fingers firmly crossed!) For anyone needing a little pick-me-up in the form of beauty and style as we head into a new chapter, we have a series of articles showcasing some truly beautiful products.

This week I’m taking a look at some of the most luxurious, decadent and glamour evoking beauty buys that might just give you a little extra confidence boost (even if it does have to be from the comfort/confines of our own home!) …. let’s kick things off with the below.

Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Palette Review

This has been an absolute game-changer for the festive months and I can see it being hugely popular for 2021 too. The beautiful thing about this palette is that the shades are so versatile. This is a palette that was not only perfect for Christmas gifting as mentioned here, but for New Year and even onwards into spring and summer.

The packaging is one of the best we’ve seen from an Urban Decay launch yet (and we’ve featured a lot!) with a raised, crystal like texture and beautiful amethyst and turquoise tones.

The majority of the shades are gorgeous shimmery tones that elevate any look. However there are some matte shades included which are perfect for creating a base. They also blend beautifully. The stars of the show are undoubtedly the shimmers here though. Bloodstone, Jade and Opal Aura are my all-time favourites but I can honestly say that every shade in this palette has it’s own individual charm and wearbility.

The matte shades work best when swept across the lid with a fluffy brush, whilst I’m finding the shimmer shades offer a truly stunning colour payoff when applied with your finger. Use a quick spritz of the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (featured here) to give some extra depth and intensity to your look.

Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Palette Swatches

If you are keen to see the shades for yourself then you can view some swatches below. These have been applied straight from the pan with no other products used alongside so you could either tone down the intensity or add to it using the methods mentioned above.

The looks that you could create from these shimmery, metallic shades are endless. The Jade green shade works perfectly when placed in the centre of the lid to finish off a dramatic eye look. Try using Good Karma or Opal Aura in the corner or as a brow-bone highlight.

The matte shades are also just as highly pigmented as the shimmers and could be worn alone for an everyday look or alongside some of the other gorgeous shades in the Urban Decay Stoned Vibes palette. The RRP is £46.00 but if you are quick you can grab it in the sale for just £32.20 on www.urbandecay.co.uk now! (ad)
