The caring new body care range from The Body Shop, Almond Milk & Honey, has been lovingly formulated for sensitive, dry skin. Enriched with Community Trade almond oil from the Alicante region of Spain, and Community Trade honey from the UNESCO Sheka rainforest in Ethiopia, the caring new Body Shop Almond Milk and Honey range is as kind to the environment as it is your skin.
With a range of body lotions, body scrubs, handcreams and bath milks, this is the ultimate way to pamper sensitive or dry skin. It smells absolutely divine and is a real treat to the skin and the senses. The whole collection is fantastic but one of the absolute best in my opinion has to be the hand-cream below.
Priced at £4.00 for 30 ml the Calming and Protecting Hand Cream is currently living in my bag and coming everywhere with me. I adore the scent and it is perfect for keeping your hands from getting dry in this cold weather.
A close runner up is this amazing Gently Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub. It is the perfect product for those with sensitive skin to ensure that they can gently buff away any dry skin whilst in the shower or bath. My teenage daughter suffers with extremely sensitive skin and she absolutely loves this. Priced at £15.00 for 250ml.
About Body Shop Almond Milk and Honey Ingredients
The Body Shop’s almond oil comes from almond nuts grown by expert farmers in the Alicante region of Spain. It is a new ingredient within their Community Trade programme, taking them one step closer to their Enrich Not Exploit™ Commitment to double the number of Community Trade ingredients they use by 2020.
To collect the precious honey we source from the Sheka rainforest biosphere reserve, we work with the “bee whisperers” of Beza Mar, a group dedicated to improving the livelihood of Ethiopian beekeeping communities and maintaining their traditional, natural way of working with the bees. Our trade helps support the sustainable use of the forest by providing a steady income to local people who might otherwise be forced to rely on agriculture that could lead to deforestation.
