Premier Inn is inviting budding photographers up and down the country to show off their skills – and love of the UK – in its ‘Best of Britain’ photography competition. Whether it’s a stunning sunset over the Cornish coast, a breathtaking shot of the Scottish Highlands or an awe-inspiring landmark, promising photographers up and down the country are encouraged to get snapping for a chance to win a prize all photography aficionados could only dream of.

Behind every good photo is an even better photographer, which is why Premier Inn has teamed up with travel and landscape photographer, Thomas Heaton, and travel blogger, Chloe Gunning, to judge the budding entrants. With expert knowledge on all things Great Britain, VisitBritain expert Emma Wilkinson will also be on hand to review the entries. VisitBritain Marketing Manager Emma Wilkinson said:

“How better to view Britain than through the lens of the people who know it most? Britain is such a photogenic destination, with so much to offer budding travellers, whether you’re a foodie, sports fanatic, countryside lover, or culture vulture, and I can’t wait to see how entrants bring Britain to life. I’m really excited to be involved in this competition as VisitBritain values authentic images that you can see yourself in, and we know our audience respond really well to user generated content which we use a lot in our domestic and international marketing campaigns”.

To enter Premier Inn’s ‘Best of Britain’ competition, take an original snap of a beautiful view anywhere in the UK and share with Premier Inn at PhotoPremierInn@golin.com, along with your full name. Some of the winning photos will be displayed in Premier Inn hotels, giving budding Bailey’s the chance to have their original shots seen by the millions of guests who stay in Premier Inn hotels every year – a draw for anyone looking to break in to professional photography.
