Nulty is a leading-edge lighting design consultancy working with some of the world’s foremost architects and interior designers. Collaboration and teamwork is at the heart of its practice; improving life through light, no matter what the scale, is its goal. A Nulty project is defined by its originality and attention to detail. Nulty recently designed the lighting for the new L’Occitane Regent Street store and we think you’ll agree, it’s looking pretty stunning!
French natural beauty brand L’Occitane en Provence, has opened an iconic new flagship store on Regent Street, creating an immersive experience that offers customers an exploration of L’Occitane’s full range of beauty products. The lighting solution aids in navigating customers on a journey of the senses as they pass through the store, which is spread over two floors and divided into different beauty zones.
The naturally warm interior palette is complemented by the use of high CRI LEDs, which bring out the true colour in the materials used, emphasising the warmth and natural ethos of the brand and emulating the ‘golden hour’ of light.
Incorporating layers of light was key to the success of this scheme. The ceiling was kept clean and uncluttered with carefully positioned downlights that cast light on the products below, whilst encouraging customers to move freely and explore the store. Perimeter joinery displays wrap the external walls and feature integrated luminaires that provide an extra layer of contrast. Feature floral displays are illuminated with miniature downlights that punctuate the columns, washing light over the installations and bringing them to life. Find out more at www.nultylighting.co.uk
