We’re all guilty of buying that wear-once statement piece over the more sensible staples. This May, GLOSSYBOX remind us that it’s the basics that underpin any good wardrobe and the same applies to our cosmetics and skincare. The May ‘Back to Basics’ box includes five simple but super must-haves for your beauty bag.
First up, GLOSSYBOX has featured the Dr.PAWPAW Original Balm. This is a stunning multi-purpose balm that can be used on your lips, skin, cuticles and even to tame fly away hairs and unruly brows. I love this handy little product and it’s definitely going straight in my handbag to use on the go.
Scrub Love boasts the Active Charcoal Body Scrub that is natural, vegetarian and vegan friendly. Offering something for everyone, this charcoal-based body exfoliator detoxifies the skin and combats puffiness and brightens skin. With the weather getting warmer I’m paying special attention to keeping my skin exfoliated and smooth so this is a real treat!
For a moisture hit, GLOSSYBOX have also included the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. Rich in powerful anti-oxidants and patented polyphenols, the lightweight cream calms sensitive skin and restores water reserves to make it more resilient. Caudalie is one of my favourite brands, I’m so pleased to find this light and moisturising product in this month’s box!
Along with mascara, blusher has to be the single most transformative product. RUBY’s super silky powder blush gives a perfect pop of coral colour to your cheeks to create a summer glow. This isn’t my usual shade but I’m definitely interested to see how it applies.
What makeup bag is complete without a tool. The Girl Meets Brush Eyeshadow Blending Brush can soften, blend or define eyeshadow whether you want to dress up or down your makeup look. I’d never heard of this brand but the brush quality is brilliant and will be perfect for creating the perfect smokey eye this spring.
The May ‘Back to Basics’ GLOSSYBOX is available for £10 (+P&P) throughout May 2017 from www.glossybox.co.uk while stock lasts.
