Love Island Sparks Popularity Of Majorca Flights

Whether it’s your type on paper, Love Island has taken off this Summer and according to flight booking site, Kiwi.com, has Brits planning trips to Majorca – where the show is based – to find their perfect couple. Over the past month, flight searches to the Spanish retreat from the UK have increased by almost a third (31%) since the show aired.

In a reality television clash this summer, only one has won the challenge, as rival programme Ex On The Beach has failed to find that spark – only an 8% increase in flight searches to Bali following the show’s airing.

So, if Brits want to join Marcel in the blazing heat, swoop in and re-couple with one of the girls, or enjoy the banter with Chris and Kem, Kiwi.com has the cheapest flights to the love island.

Alison Couper from Kiwi.com said “Whether you love it or hate it, Love Island has once again taken the nation by storm. We have seen a significant amount of Brits reacting to the TV phenomenon by searching for their own romantic story with a last minute trip to Majorca. The island is the perfect setting for young adults to find their match and at Kiwi.com we’ve identified the best deals to the islands’ haven.”
