Spring is almost here and we are embracing the season in all its glory! This month we’ve put together some gift ideas for a spring baby. Perfect for those upcoming baby showers and with a royal baby on the way soon, everyone definitely seems to have baby fever. Here are just a few suggestions of baby gifts this spring.

The practical items – it is tempting to only pick the prettiest items when you are looking for spring baby gifts, but let’s not forget the practicals too. Sometimes new mum and baby will be ever so appreciative of some of the most basic essentials. Not everyone will be lucky enough to receive as many gifts as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but that’s not something most of us would be expecting. Try picking up things like: baby blankets, vests, nappies and wet-wipes. All of these things can be added into gift baskets and more as part of a wider gift. Check with the parents first if you are buying bigger things like a baby bath or Moses basket though.
Spring baby clothing – with so many beautiful baby clothes to choose from, you will be spoiled for choice. If you are looking for high-quality items then pick up some designer newborn baby clothes from Strawberry Children and you won’t be disappointed. Pretty little spring dresses are lovely as a gift and make a great keepsake to pass down over the years. I love anything floral for spring or cute little tops and dresses with butterflies or bunnies! For boys, little shorts and cute vest tops are always a winner.
Sun protection – younger babies may not appreciate having to keep a hat on, but it is so important to protect their delicate skin from the harmful rays. You can find sweet little sun hats for babies and these would make a lovely gift. Dainty summer socks and pram shoes will also keep them covered up.
Baby toys – you don’t always have to go with clothing or accessories when gifting for a spring baby. Sometimes toys and accessories to keep baby amused are just as welcome. Always check the recommended age on the product labels though. Some great ideas for baby toys are musical mobiles and stuffed animals.
Nursery gifts – if you know that the parents have just decorated a nursery for their newborn then nursery decor could make a great baby gift. Pastel coloured rugs, night lights and wall hangings would be a thoughtful way to show how much you care.
Gifts for mum – it can be nice to treat mum when you put together a baby gift. Think about pampering products and treats that will help her relax. You could opt for flowers, chocolates and relaxing bath products or perhaps a voucher to her favourite spa or salon for when she’s feeling up to it.
