Delicious Autumn Treats To Try From Costa

costa

Before the Costa Christmas menu arrives in all of its glory, we decided to take a look at some of their more autumnal food and drink options. With our local store literally two minutes down the road, it’s safe to say that we’re regular visitors! Below you’ll find just a few of the delicious treats we think are definitely worth trying out whilst you wait for their exciting new Christmas menu.

costa coffee

First off, let’s talk about the Costa drinks. They have a lovely range of coffee all year round and it’s always great to grab a cappuccino on the go as I wander past, en route to the post office. Recently though, a firm favourite of mine has been the Costa Hazelnut Latte made with Soya milk. I love how autumnal and warming this drink is, without being overly sweet or sickly. It’s just perfect! My husband prefers the equally yummy caramel latte whilst my teenage daughter is a big fan of their hot chocolate!

costa paninni

If you want breakfast in a hurry then Costa has some yummy porridge and the tastiest Pannini’s ever. These are perfect for those days when you need something hearty and filling to set you up for the day. A perfectly satisfying alternative to a greasy fry-up!

costa hoisin duck wrap

The Costa Hoisin Duck Wrap is perfect for lunch on the go and can be eaten hot or cold. Tasty, filling and easy to eat when you’re in a rush on your lunch break.

One of the best new menu additions at Costa lately is without doubt their hot pasta boxes. These are absolutely perfect for the autumn and winter months when we need something warm and delicious in our bellies on a cold day. Full of flavour and filling enough to keep hunger at bay all day, these look and taste phenomenal. Perfect to eat in or to take away and eat on the go thanks to their cute little cardboard box packaging.

costa cakes

The choice of seasonal sweet treats is also seriously tempting in Costa this month. Different stores hold different selections. Ours has tasty treats such as the raspberry and almond bakes, chocolate explosion cake and delicious blueberry muffins.

Look out for seasonal festive and winter themed sweet treats in your local Costa as they do tend to stock a bigger selection in some of the larger, busier branches. My all time favourite has to be the simple but tasty blueberry muffin if I’m honest. It’s not too sweet and has a jammy centre that adds to the flavour.

If you need to grab a treat for the little ones, there are also some fab little snacky bits near the counter. These cute little fruit wiggles are just enough to give as a special treat to children 12 months upwards and they are free from artificial additives and gluten.
