Chimasu Review | Monthly Subscription Box Snacks From East and South-East Asia

Chimasu review

We love a good subscription box, so when the chance to write a Chimasu review was presented to us, it sounded like something different and fun to try. My husband and teenage daughter were delighted when this landed on our doorstep so keep reading to find out what was inside or Chimasu box and how to get your own.

Chimasu Review – What is Chimasu?

Chimasu is a monthly subscription box filled with tasty snacks from across East and South-East Asia. Subscribers to this receive snacks such as biscuits, cakes, candy and noodles from countries such as Japan, China, Thailand and Korea. The founders discovered their love for Asian snacks whilst travelling across the region on holiday. However, when they returned to the UK, they were unable to find their new favourite snacks anywhere. If you are interested in taking a peek at last months box then keep reading!

Presented in a cute little cardboard box, the Chimasu box arrived and we were instantly intrigued. This was definitely something a little bit different from your standard beauty boxes and cooking subscription boxes. These were hard to find, handy little snacks that are fun and exciting to try!

Inside the box we found so many cute looking treats. From noodles, to confectionery and even tea – there was something for everyone.

Quite a lot of the snacks are ‘Seaweed’ flavoured, but surprisingly they all taste very different. These adorable little packets of biscuity treats are in such cute shapes and taste delicious!

How can you resist the little faces on these cheeky panda shaped treats?! My daughter loved these and they definitely taste as good as they look!

I love the fact that Chimasu has included some winter warming snacks like noodle soups and comforting tea! Exactly what you need in this cold weather.

With so many more amazing snacks to try in this box, it would last for a while and is a wonderful, exciting way to get a taste of snacks that you’d usually not see at your local supermarket.
