Birchbox April 2015 Review – Royally Good

Birchbox

Beauty subscription boxes still continue to be popular and recently we’ve been delving into the contents of some of the best on the market. This week we’re looking at the April 2015 Birchbox ‘Royally Good’ and showing you the kind of products you can expect to find inside. Let us know your thoughts on subscription boxes and tell us which ones are your favourites by commenting below!

Lola Birchbox Nail Polish

The first thing to catch my eye was the bright and summery Lola Barcelona nail polish. This is great for the warmer weather and would look perfect paired with a floaty floral dress for daytime wear or for adding a pop of colour to your evening glamour.

Birchbox April

The Percy and Reed Volumising No Oil, Oil comes in pretty packaging and smells great. I’ve only used this once so far, so bear with me on this one, but I’m not entirely sure that it did anything particularly amazing to my hair. Maybe it’s one that grows on you?

Now these two products I’m in love with and will definitely be purchasing more. The Bliss fabulous foaming face wash is gorgeously scented and managed to clean and exfoliate my fairly sensitive skin beautifully. The deliciously scented Korres Bergamot and Pear shower gel is hydrating on the skin and creates a lovely, luxurious lather. Perfect for a little bit of pampering this spring!

Violet Eyeliner Laura Mercier Birchbox April 2015

For a smokey eye, with a pop of colour, the creamy Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet is an ultra sophisticated choice. I love a good eyeliner and this one looks great as an alternative to black for this season.

Energise me

The Inner Me ‘Energise Me’ supplements sound perfect for those of us wanting a bit more of a spring in our step. I haven’t tried these yet but I’m hoping for good results. Leave us a comment below if you’ve tried any of the products mentioned and what you thought of them.
