4 of The Most Amazing Natural Wonders in Europe

There are some incredible natural wonders to see throughout Europe that are worth visiting. This summer, now that we can vacation almost anywhere, we can indulge ourselves in some much deserved travel after staying at home for almost a year and a half , with most of that being in harsh lockdown.

Here are 4 of the most amazing natural wonders in Europe to put on your bucket list:

The Blue lagoon in Iceland

If you have ever seen a postcard or popular tourism material promoting Iceland, chances are high that you have seen a photo of the Blue Lagoon! The Blue Lagoon’s geothermal seawater attracts people from all over the world as it has health and relaxation benefits for those who dip into the pool. It is known to help with physical ailments, skin challenges, stress and more. The Blue Lagoon is located close to the airport, making it very easy to get to.

Cliffs of Moher in Ireland

The Cliffs of Moher, located in the southwestern part of County Clare in Ireland have been featured in numerous movies and are a major attraction for visitors to the country. The rugged coast and expanding cliffs draw your eye out towards the water and out towards beautiful nature. There are over 15 species of birds that can be seen out here, as well as many different types of flora and fauna.

Blue Grotto in Capri, Italy

The Blue Grotto in Capri, Italy is a top spot to visit in Italy when visiting Capri or the surrounding area. If you take a boat tour or on your own, especially during high season there is a line to get in. But visiting the sea cave is an experience with the surrounding darkness and light that reflects off the blue waters.

Faroe Islands in Denmark

The Faroe Islands in Denmark are a group of 18 volcanic islands that are a natural wonder that is a bit more undiscovered. This means there aren’t quite as many tourists and you can have a very different experience here than you would at one of the more popular sites. There is beautiful nature here with jagged coastlines, characteristic and brightly-painted houses, and even the main capital on the Tórshavn on the islands if you want to also be around a bit more people and non-nature things to do.

Hopefully these amazing places will reignite your inner desire for wanderlust! The nice part is that most of these destinations aren’t far from major cities for those who want a bit of nature and city life this summer! This way you can combine city and nature in a more ‘normal life’ vacation!
